Fort Kochi is situated at Palace Road, Mattancherry in Kochi. Many tourist come here to enjoy the sightseeing of Mattancherry Palace(Dutch Palace) and the Santa Cruz Basilica.
There is a Hill Palace near Tripunithura. It is the largest archaeological museum in Kerala. Spread across 54 acres, it has 49 building based on traditional architectural style.
Bolgatty Palace is built by the Dutch, situate din the scenic Bolgatty Island in Kochi. Earlier, it was Governer’s place to the Dutch then it becomes the residence of British Governers and now it is a heritage resort.
St. Francis Church, built in 1503, is the oldest European church in India. It is also among one of the tourist attraction.
Bhoothathankettu is a popular tourist destination as it is connected to the Salim Ali/ Thattekad Bird Sancutary. It is located about 50 km away from Kochi, in the village of Pindimana. There is also Idamalayam reservoir which is just 12 km away from the site.
